The Creative Industries Federation has accepted two new members: the Center for Creative Economy at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and the Association of Public Relations Consulting Companies (AKOS). Participants agree that this decision will strengthen the FCI's expert and educational potential for developing the creative sector.

On January 30, the Board of the Creative Industries Federation held a meeting. Following the meeting, a decision was made to admit two new organizations to the Federation. The Center for Creative Economy at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and the Association of Public Relations Consulting Companies (AKOS) have joined the FCI.

The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO develops the creative sector through its Center for Creative Economy, which builds a community of leaders and conducts research, educational programs, and consulting. "Our Center operates at the intersection of economics, culture, and urban studies. "Joining the Federation of Creative Industries will allow us to systematically replicate our experience and, together, develop a new generation of creative industry managers across the country," explained Lidiya Roy, Director of the Center for Creative Economy.

AKOS, which represents the interests of communications agencies, sees membership as a strategic opportunity. "AKOS unites leading communications agencies that have officially been operating within the creative industries since 2025. Our goal is to help all industry professionals better navigate the substantive, regulatory, and economic context of the creative economy and develop in response to new opportunities and support measures. AKOS's accession to the FCI is a logical step that accelerates the process of public relations' self-identification as a creative industry. We thank our colleagues for their trust and are confident that our work on this platform, in alliance with other creative communications industries, will be effective. We invite all interested experts to dialogue and cooperation," said Andrey Lapshov, Chairman of AKOS and President of the Insiders Consulting Group.

Igor M. Namakonov, CEO of the Creative Economy Foundation, emphasized the importance of expanding its membership. "The Center for Creative Economy of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and ACOS are, first and foremost, strong centers of excellence in their respective fields. By combining our developments and expertise, we strengthen each other. It is important for us to form a representative and competent professional community capable of formulating a relevant market agenda that can be addressed by the government, business, and society. Our new members are another confident step in this direction."
